Description: Max comes to us from a family that is not home enough to care for him. He is just turning one year old on February 28th, and he is all puppy! His foster mom says he has been very good with his potty training, but is full of energy.

Max will need to start a training class right away so he can learn to be a model pug citizen. He is very cute, and has a silky soft coat, but don't let his looks deceive you - this guy is a live wire! He needs to learn not to jump, er, fly at your face and bonk your nose, and he needs to learn how to be on his own. He is also a comfort licker, so he really doesn't know when to lay off with the kisses. Now, we all love Pug kisses, but Max does tend to overdo it just a bit.

In his previous home, he spent all day outside with another dog, so he is accustomed to always having company, and he gets stressed when alone. Max will need definitely need to sign up for an obedience class with his new family so they all can learn how to enjoy each other. Maybe he can be the next agility pug?

New Beginning: Max has already found a wonderful new forever family! He'll be a spoiled house dog and has two little girls of his very own to chase around all day! What a lucky guy. His new name is Mac, and we wish him all the best in his new life and hope to see him out at some of our events. Bring your family to meet us, Mac!
